Design Addiction

I’ve been crazy about homes for quite awhile.  It has become quite the addiction.  I’ve made it a nightly routine to scroll through every home app there is, just looking at picture after picture. Before I know it, it’s 1am in the morning. I go to bed, and wake up to do it all over again.  I do this, and I feel I have become programmed.  I’ve become programed into a designing machine! I feel I can design for any style with, of course, my touch of Casey thrown on top of it. Throughout the day, I have ideas that just flood my brain. These ideas are unique and brilliant.  When this happens, it’s like magic!

I’d like to share, with you, a home I designed.  When I say design, this is what I mean: floor plan, selections, decorating, custom built ins, distressed wood work on walls, images on walls taken by me, custom stain colors and custom barn doors.  Everything you see through this home, is the end result of that magic I told you about.  Even if this home is not your style, I guarantee you will still like it.

I want to include how grateful I am to, Joseph Scott Homes.  Without them, my ideas would have never come to life.  The quality, craftsmanship and hard work is what truly topped this house off.  The designing of a home is the fun part, and Joseph Scott Homes did everything else, which is the hard part.

Now, enjoy your visual tour!

This coat hook was made by me. Can you believe this was a brand new piece of wood? I gave it a distressed look.

The Image on the wall was taken by me during Joseph Scott Homes framing process. Five guys lifting a huge wall. Having a raised office, gave the home more character.

This sign was made by me. Once again, I started with a brand new piece of wood, and then distressed it. I wanted to showcase the Joseph Scott Homes name through the decorating. That way, it reminds potential customers, who built this home full of quality.

The patterns on the built in benches were designed by me. I did two toned stain on them as well.

I hope you enjoyed your visual tour through this character filled home.  Now….

I have a secret for you…

I am proud to announce that I am currently in the beginning stages of designing another home for Joseph Scott Homes.
